PowerPoint compression trick

A client showed me a neat trick that greatly compresses a PowerPoint file for easy emailing.

Save a backup version of the PowerPoint file

Open the file

Right click any photo

Select "Format Object"

Select "Picture" Tab

Click "Compress" button

Select "All pictures in document"

Change resolution to "Web/Screen"

Check "Compress Pictures" and "Delete cropped area of pictures"

Click OK
